Team History
Clutch was created in 1997 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Michigan now has two women's club teams, Strut and Clutch, and a strong college women's team (Flywheel). In 2004, Clutch made their first quarterfinals appearance, finishing 12th from a 16 seed. We see it as a challenge each year to set the record for upsets. Talented and determined rookies, a hard-working group of returners, and the hot-pink love that keeps the Clutch machine lubed up and purring has brought us back to Florida for our 5th consecutive Nationals. We're ready to show you what we can do on the field (and you won't want to miss what we can do on the dance floor). Always a show, we play hard, smart, together and have fun. Clutch wants you to know that you've been pre-approved for a pleasurable experience.
