Team History
In the Spring of 2003, a few young seedheads from the Flatlands Cornfield Jungle decided that the winds were ripe for creating and nurturing a unique, organic beast of an Ultimate squad that would imbibe talent from all corners of the vast Midwest landscape with blatant disregard to central proximity. Free from the caged existence of "organized practice", the creature was able to mutate, adapt, and thrive in the competitive Ultimate Kingdom. The rapidly growing organism immediately began laying waste to the Hinterland, terrorizing prey from Boulder to Naperville, and absorbing constituents from beyond its birthplace, into the deep forests of St. Louis. Soon, the life form better known as CLX found itself on the scent trail of the prey it had sought since spring; but was waylaid on its way to the feast.A winter of fitful slumber passed, the creature emerged from the ice, and was starving. Further the beast stretched - north to Minneapolis, even extending an osmotic finger south to Lawrence, and enveloping an unexpected morsel from the Old West. The beast had now come of age, and was ready to dance The Worm. Armed with candy cigarettes, a rock of mystical origin, and a coat of Iris-colored fur, CLX again picked up the scent it had lost a year earlier, this time with a sharper scent of salty Gulf breezes blowing through gentle southern palms. The creature was driven to the edge of the jungle, and, unblinking, steadily lurched forward to claim its birthright………….
