Team History
Grey X was formed in 2002 by Marty Bakko and Russ Adams. Through their leadership, a final link in the men’s ultimate chain for Twin Cities’ players has been established. After two years at the helm, both were ready to hand off the reigns to new captains, although keeping them quiet only works occasionally. The first task for the new captains was ridding the team of the dreaded Weave drill.

2004 has brought many new faces to the team, along with more speed. Our conditioning coach, Eric Enge, has been working feverishly to get us in shape, up to his personal standards. We spent the majority of the season chasing around people half our age and nursing hamstring injuries.  Our heckling has improved dramatically throughout the season as well, just ask Sub Zero. If you hear the Winona State fight song, you are getting close to our camp.

Our entire focus is preparing for two tournaments, regionals and nationals. One down, one to go…
