Team History
Holes & Poles was formed in the winter of 1995 when a group of 5 women invited 2 men to join them at a men’s “Savage 7” tournament in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  The team continued to play at this annual Savage 7 tourney and when Coed/Mixed Ultimate hit the national scene, Holes & Poles began to compete across the country.

Among us, we represent a variety of Ultimate experiences.  Some of us began playing 20 years ago when Ultimate was very young, while others are relatively new to the sport.  Our team is made up of an extended family of children, spouses and friends.  We are truly a family team.  Our strengths are that we love playing ultimate, playing hard D, and taking other teams behind the woodshed.  We know how to have a good time and rise to the occasion when it’s time to TCB.

Our 2004 season has seen some personnel changes.  We lost a few longtime friends and added some new faces to the squad.  Just as in previous years, there has been an emphasis on our mini-camp practices as opposed to attending many tournaments throughout the season.  These practices have been events as we have had to travel to a central location just to get together; our team is scattered throughout the states that make up the Gulf Coast Section plus a few others. After claiming the South Regional crown, we are peaking and coming together when it counts!!
