Team History
The core of this Union of free-spirited players with strong Seattle ties has been together in changing forms since the early 90's, including three mid-90's UPA Open division finals with Sockeye, and first used this name in 1995 at Flower Bowl.  A love of intense competition, each other and beer, coupled with genuine respect for other teams and topped off by the inability to grow up and stop playing games like children has kept the brotherhood together ever since.  Now arguably more a social club then an ultimate team, the non-judgmental joy its players share in each other's company seems to bring out the best in everybody, both on and off the field.  KWA continues to rally for each new season.  After kicking a keg a day while winning U.S. National Masters Championships in 2000 and 2001 and a World Championship in 2002 (and winning the spirit of the game awards in 1999 and 2003), the team has retooled with more players with really hot wives and insatiable thirsts, plus some stylish new shirts (like we needed more Ultimate shirts) that mask our growing guts.
