The UPA College Coursework Validation Process Certain types of college courses, including Internet, correspondence, and those offered through continuing education and extension programs, in general, may not be used to fulfill academic eligibility requirements for the UPA College Series. The UPA recognizes, however, that in limited circumstances such courses may be appropriate within the spirit of the eligibility rules. To apply, a player must submit a coursework validation request in writing (email is fine) to the UPA College Eligibility Committee by February 15th of the year in which eligibility is to apply. The request must include:
NOTE: The UPA may reject a coursework validation request for insufficient information and/or documentation. Validation may be revoked at any time if it is discovered that the coursework under consideration does not meet the required criteria. If approval is revoked the player will be deemed ineligible for the Series, and the player and/or team may be disqualified from the Series.
