Directions: Off Riley st. behind the aquatic center
Would love to get a weekend game going in Folsom, CA. I figured Lembi is nice and central and has plenty of space for a game, not sure about during soccer season, but still should be able to find some room then too. Anyway, I would think earlier would be better to beat the heat. I would like it to be open to all skill levels, I myself am probably between advanced and intermediate, and am a better thrower than runner :-) If you'd be interested in playing regular Saturday games please respond to the email provided and I will make a list. I would need at least regular 5on5 to make it a for sure thing.
P.S. I saw another game on here, but I went by this weekend and first of all there was no one there to play, and secondly, there is no where at that park where you could conceivably hold a game.
Directions: Off Riley St.
Trying to see if there is enough interest to get a regular weekend game in Folsom. Definitely Saturdays, I would also like to play on Sunday as well but Sundays might have to go on the shelf during football season, so if Sunday isn't going to work then at least Saturday.
I am open to the times, whatever people feel comfortable with, I am thinking either like 8am or like 6-7pm so its a little cooler.
I would have this be open to anyone who wants to play from beginner to advanced. I would say I am intermediate to advanced myself, but I don't mind helping newbies learn.
If this is something you are interested in then email me and if I get to where I think we can get at least regular 5on5 then we can call it a game. 4on4 or even 3on3 is way too much so that is not an option. We can do an evite thing to see if we will have a game or we can create a yahoo group and do polls to determine likelihood of a game, or we can just have an understanding that most will show.
So like I said, if you are interested shoot me an email and I will compile until we have at least 10 folks who are willing to make it a regular thing.
Directions: Take the East Bidwell Exit off of Highway 50, then take a right at scholar way, then a left at the stop sign. The field is on the right hand side.

Directions: Pickup Game is in Thousand Oaks (in the Newbury Park section) near the corner of Wendy Drive and Lynn Road.
The overall level of play is pretty athletic with a lot of experience on the field. The Sunday games tend to have a more casual atmosphere, though the Saturday games are the best attended (meaning we usually have subs) however the crowd is really good about working in new players.
We will at random have a BBQ after the Sunday games btw...BYOB (we'll blast the announcement on the email list)
Directions:
* Exit the 101 Freeway on Wendy Drive and head south toward the hills (left if coming north on the 101, right if you are going southbound)
* Drive about 2 miles (you will pass Kimber Drive and a 7-11 along with another park on the right; ignore that one) and the park is on the lefthand side of the street.
* HOWEVER just before the park (and you won't see it till it's too late) there is a road to the left called Logewood, turn on it and go up a block or so to American Oaks, turn right on American Oaks and you will see the park on the right hand side.
* If you hit Lynn Rd, you've gone too far south, but you can still get to Wendy Park (that's the name of the park though there are no signs) by turning left on Lynn Rd then take the first left onto Lemonwood. Lemonwood will hit American Oaks from the opposite direction, just take a left onto American Oaks from there and go down a couple of blocks.

Awesome group to join. Open to all levels, beg-adv. At this time we play
on Stanford campus at Roble Field on Santa Teresa St. The best way to get
there from El Camino Real (Hwy 82) is to take Palm drive ( also know as
University if you are heading into Palo Alto). You want to take a right on
Campus Dr before the Oval. Campus Dr will snake around passing the
medical center. Santa Teresa St will be on your left at a stop sign. You
can't miss the field. As of June 15, 1999 we are using Palo Alto High football
field as an alternate site.
If you have any questions please contact quanh@leland.stanford.edu or
contact the listserv disc-at-loki@lists.Stanford.EDU
Roble Field, on the Stanford campus. This is the field near
the student union where tournaments are sometimes held. NOT visible
from El Camino!!! Directions: From Junipero Serra Blvd. (the
northern continuation of Foothill Expressway) turn right on Campus
Drive West (where the driving range and the entrance to the golf
course). go past the tennis courts and then turn right on Santa
Teresa (the first stop sign). It's on your left after about 100
yards. Rules are slightly different than standard. Expect to run hard.
