Viewing Your Rosters
To see what rosters you are on, login into the UPA website via
After logging in, you can view what teams you are on via the
roster page (
http://upa.org/roster).
Click on the "My Teams" link on the left sidebar. If you are on a roster, the team names will display at the top of the page:
Remove self from a team
If you have been placed on a team which you do not want to be on, you can remove yourself from the team. Follow the link to the team page to view the team roster. On the view roster page, you will have the option to remove yourself from the team:
If you follow the
* Remove Me * link, you will have the option to confirm you want to be removed from the team roster. Once you remove yourself from the team, you will not have access to view the roster. You can return to the team view page by following the
Cancel link instead.
NOTE: If an organizer has entered a player's information incorrectly, you may see the
* Remove Me * link next to a name that is not yours. The rostering system still thinks that is you. If you do not wish to be on the roster, use the
* Remove Me * page to remove yourself from the roster.
Dealing with roster conflicts
A player can be on only one roster at a given tournament. Similarly, current UPA rules limit a player's participant to one team for championship series play.
If you have been added to two or more teams for a tournament or championship series, all of the teams you are on are considered
incomplete until the roster conflict is resolved.
When viewing the roster overview page, you can see your
conflicted status in the rostering listing:
You should have also received an email informing you of both placement onto the team, and your conflicted status with the team.
Either you or one of the organizers from the teams you are on must remove you from the team(s) you will not be playing with in order to remove the
Incomplete status from the roster.
You can
remove yourself from the team, or the
team organizer can remove you.
How to Resolve Incomplete status
If your status on a roster is listed as
Incomplete, you need to take action to resolve this status. An incomplete status means at least one of three things:
- You are not dues current.
You can pay your dues online or send in a check.
- You are not waiver current.
You must complete a waiver before participating in a UPA sanctioned event. Please download a waiver, fill it out and mail it to the UPA. The address is on the waiver form.
- You are on more than one team for the tournament or series event.
Please see Resolving Roster Conflicts above for details on resolving a conflicted status.
Ineligible status
Some tournaments and UPA sanctioned events have eligibility restrictions. The
College Championship Series, Masters and Youth tournaments are the most common. If you have an
ineligible status on a roster, the UPA believes you have not met the tournament's elibility requirements and you may not play in this tournament.
For more information, please review the
ineligible description and information on your eligibility.
