Ultimate Captains and Players Iâm excited to announce Equinox 2008! We will be hosting it again in Odessa, Texas. This is an open format. There are no rules on the amount of women, basically. Falcon Ultimate, the hosting team will be playing a few girls but not many. Also, we are accepting bids from any age range and any division. Club, masters, fogeys, and high school. Itâs all fair game. Here is the nitty gritty. Dates are March 29-30. Camping is still available, and we all remember how awesome that was last year! If you arenât familiar, the UTPB ultimate fields are located right next to a duck pond/park area. Itâs really nice and scenic and about the only interesting thing at UTPB. Last year just about every team camped and we still had room. Itâs a nice place to build friendships up over two nights between teams. A lot of fun! We are still planning to do a charity fundraiser. We will more than likely partner up with Big Brothers Big Sisters again to have the âLittlesâ come out around 12:00 on Saturday to educate them about ultimate and have a friendly game. Last year all the captains of the teams came out and played with the Littles and Bigs in a friendly game of Ultimate. Really makes you feel good. Tournament costs are $180 dollars if you register by March 15th. Paypal is accepted and so are checks. If you decide to pay at the tournament be prepared to fork over 200 bones.
